October 22nd Chris Silas Neal

On Wednesday, October 22nd the Illustration Symposium guest will be the illustrator / designer Chris Silas Neal.  Neal's work has appeared in several publications including The New York Times, and The New Yorker.  He illustrated the picture books Over and Under the Snow, and Lifetime.  He has directed short videos for Kate Spade, and Anthropologie and he was awarded a medal from the Society of Illustrators for his work in motion graphics.  Neal, also exhibits in galleries.  He teaches Illustration at Pratt Institute.  Chris' talk will be in Shemin Auditorium in the Shaffer Art Building from 12:45 - 2:00 pm.
