November,12th Edward Kinsella

Our guest this Wednesday will be the illustrator/artist, Edward Kinsella.  Some of Kinsella's clients include, Rolling Stone, the United States Postal Service, and Playboy to name a few.  Kinsella's work appears in all of the trade annuals.  He won a gold medal in Spectrum 19 and a silver medal in The Society of Illustrators 54 and a gold medal this year.  Kinsella makes his home in St. Louis with his wife Eve, a professional photographer, and Luna the cat.

Kinsella, will be speaking from 12:45 to 2:00 pm in Shemin Auditorium.

November 5th Roger DeMuth

On Wednesday November 5th the Illustration Symposium guest will be one of our own Roger DeMuth.  Roger is something of a Renaissance Man, he is an award winning Designer, Illustrator, Photographer, and Gardner.  For over forty years DeMuth has worked with companies such as the Cartoon Network, Disney, and Warner Brothers, to name a few.  He has illustrated several children's books including "Messy Bessie, Where's my Homework", "Please don't eat Me", and "Dinner for Eight".  His photograph of the Alahambra in Granada, Spain was awarded Best of Show/and the Fuji Award at the International Association of Panoramic Photographers Exhibition.

After thirty-six years of dedication and service to the students of Syracuse University Roger will be retiring at the end of the semester.
