Dan Shefelman

This Wednesday 1/22 we will be entering a new realm.  We will be having some of our lectures visiting us via Skype.  Our first guest of the semester (and first Skype) is the illustrator Dan Shefelman.  Shefelman worked as a storyboard artist for animated films such as Epic, Ice Age (1&2), Robots, Beavis and Butthead Do America, and Joe's Apartment, to name a few.  Dan's editorial cartoons have appeared in The New York Times, Newsday, and The Village Voice.  In 2008 he created an animated political series about the presidential campaign for CNN titled Red and Blue.

Shefelman also teaches Visual Story Development at FIT.
