2 / 26 Dan Bejar

This week we will be doing something a little different.  Instead of meeting in Shemin Auditorium, the Illustration Symposium class will be meeting in room 332 in Shaffer because our guest, Dan Bejar, will be talking and doing a demo.

Bejar grew up on Florida's Gulf Coast, and studied Illustration at Ringling College of Art and Design in Sarasota.

Since 2000, Bejar has been working as a freelance illustrator.  Some of his clients include, The New York Times, Playboy, Rolling Stone and ESPN.  

His work has been recognized in annuals such as American Illustration, 3x3, Communication Arts and The Society of Illustrators.

Bejar, has won silver medals from The Society of Illustrators and The Society of Publication Designers.

Now Dan, calls Brooklyn, NY home.
