This Wednesday, April 2nd our guest will be Jeff Hardy. Originally from Utica, NY, Jeff graduated from SU's, Illustration Program in 1998. Two years later he started his company, Floor 84, a multi-media, advertising, and design studio. In 2005 he incorporated into Floor 84 Studio LLC. Some of their clients include, The Discovery Channel's, Deadliest Catch, Monster Garage, and Monster House, Well's Fargo Bank, and Russel Simmons to name a few. In 2007, Jeff, along with his wife Lauren, expanded their company again with the addition of F84 Games, which makes multi-platform development for console, mobile, and online games. Jeff and his family now make their home in LA.

Robert Shetterly 3/26
As part of the, "American Whistle Blowers Tour: Models of Courageous Citizenship", being hosted by S.U. this month, our guest this Wednesday will be the painter and print maker, Robert Shetterly.
Shetterly, who's paintings and prints are in collections throughout the United States and Europe, will be talking about his series, "American's Who Tell the Truth." The collection includes portraits of Native American Faith Keeper, Oren Lyons, '58, (see image below), and Maria Sapon-Shevin, professor of inclusive education in S.U's School of Education. The original artwork will be on display at 914 Works, 914 E. Genesee St., Syracuse through April 11th.

3/19/14 Rich Kelly '07 (via Skype)
Our guest speaker this Wednesday will be our own Rich Kelly. Rich graduated from the Syracuse Illustration program Magna Cum Laude in 2007. Upon graduation, Kelly moved to Chicago, IL. and began a career as a freelance illustrator in editorial, publishing, music industry, and advertising markets. Kelly has created concert posters for the bands, Phish, The Black Keys, and Dave Mathews Band. He has made movie posters for Mondo (Twelve Years a Slave, Wild at Heart, Django Unchained ), and for Sony (Breaking Bad). Kelly now makes his home in Pittsburgh, PA. It's going to be a fun day!
